What You Can Do
Refugees International Japan thrives thanks to people just like you. No matter who you are, you CAN make a valuable contribution to our efforts to help refugees worldwide. Perhaps you can show your support of our cause by becoming a member, or by giving some of your precious time to help us organize events, or by making a donation.
Here are some other suggestions you can consider.
Donate an Event
Our corporate partners have raised money for us by naming RIJ as a beneficiary for charitable funds raised at charity drives and scheduled company events, such as annual dinners, through raffles, competitions and personal donations. They also had a lot of fun along the way. Whatever your circumstances, there is something that you are doing that can help us. We will provide as much support as possible to help make the occasion enjoyable and profitable. Please consult us.
Become a Sponsor
There are many different ways in which organizations can provide professional support to specific RIJ events and activities. We can help you to take advantage of your core competencies and set up a corporate community involvement program of mutual benefit and value. Working with you, we will find the best way for you to contribute, whether through financial or in-kind sponsorship, or by making good use of your resources, time, knowledge and influence.
Become an Intern
We welcome applications for internship from college or university students, high school students or adults seeking skills for a new career. An internship with RIJ can provide you with opportunities to gain experience in the field of NGOs, determine if you have an interest in a particular career, create a network of contacts, or gain school credit. Our internships may be part-time or full-time, and typically last 6-12 weeks, but can be shorter or longer.
